ballet nonsense

here's who i've signed up to be for an upcoming Ballet themed photo-shoot meet.

Myrtha- queen of the Wilis

apparently a wilis is a ghost of a virgin who died before marriage.
how can i create a coordinate to reflect this? i'm feeling stuck. haha...
maybe i should just directly copy it

something like this would be lovely i think:

and decorated with white roses... hm!

i met misako aoki! and now i'm inspired

last weekend i went to the Tokyo Fashion Festa in NYC. it was really awesome! it was inspiring to see some prints in real life which i've only seen in photos... like Vampire Requiem *drools*
anyways, i had an awesome time, and it was really great to reconnect with some fellow loli buddies from the surrounding area! : 3
the highlight of the night by far though was meeting Misako Aoki, and getting a photo taken with her! :D i've loved her and her style for a long time! it's so refreshing to see more simple and elegant, while still adorable outfits!
she even posted a photo of my friends and i with her on her blog... unfortunately we all look pretty silly (derpy) but hey, it's still really nice that she put it up! : )

Check out her photos from that weekend!

cuteness

i just bought this scarf from closet child AN amazing lolita consignment store. and let me just give a tiny review right now, because their service has always been 5/5 stars. They reply to emails sometimes within hours... and they even have their OWN guide to using the shopping cart system in english on their website, complete with screenshots, which is awesome and i wish every site did this.
CLOSET CHILD

yeah, its pretty much adorable, god i'm such a sucker for baby. they are by far my favorite brand.

trouble's a' brewin'

Dances of Vice: trouble in toyland was spectacular.
i need to attend more of these events... the next one is 21+ though (dumb).
for those of you who don't know Dances of Vice are themed costume parties in the NYC area, usually victorian attire. okay, that description doesn't do it any justice, because they are really cool
here's the site DOV

and here are some photos of me from the event:

haha i look so goofy and happy in this photo. xD
